Barchesco is a retailer of fine china in Southern California. It's a family-owned company that is passionate about their products and wanted to reflect this passion on their website. They had an old-fashioned website with limited functionality. My role was to communicate with them and understand current users' needs and business vision. I provided UX, UI, and HTML/CSS for the website.
Some goals we wanted to cover:
- The website should focus more on collections rather than standalone items (business need)
- The process of buying should be simpler (users need)
- The website should satisfy customers’ vintage tastes but be modern at the same time (stakeholder wish)
